A well-hit corner resulted in 于飞鹰 heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 21st minute Sandro Maciel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mazinho Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 卡納里尼奧 FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fabrício Brunovskis in the 22nd minute. The corner led 卡納里尼奧 FC's Fabrício Brunovskis to fire away a dangerous shot which Mazinho Barreto despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Aírton Pires kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, 卡納里尼奧 FC's goalkeeper Yuri Quirino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Di Toma. Timeteo Pinto's late challenge caught a FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mazinho Barreto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulysses de Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Ulysses de Senna who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Mazinho Barreto when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
