In the 9th minute Sylvester Schwarzenegger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antropofagia FC were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Al-Fajuth's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sylvester Schwarzenegger took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Sylvester Schwarzenegger got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Yuri Quirino quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 13th minute, Sylvester Schwarzenegger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Antropofagia FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Thanks to some nice moves Ulysses de Senna could shoot a difficult shot in the 17th minute, which Elias Arruda however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Léo Ortiz in the 20th minute of play forced Antropofagia FC's goalkeeper Elias Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yuri Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sylvester Schwarzenegger in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Sylvester Schwarzenegger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yuri Quirino. Al-Fajuth's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sylvester Schwarzenegger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Sandro Maciel kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. If Sylvester Schwarzenegger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 36th minute Elder Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yuri Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elder Castro in the 39th minute of play. When Sylvester Schwarzenegger came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Antropofagia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sylvester Schwarzenegger couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ulysses de Senna to make the kick off. Luke DeGaetano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yuri Quirino came out and tried to block the shot, but Luke DeGaetano slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulysses de Senna in the 64th minute of play forced Antropofagia FC's goalkeeper Elias Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sandro Maciel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandro Maciel took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elias Arruda. Elias Arruda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Felipe Capixaba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Al-Fajuth's Yuri Quirino got control of the ball when Sylvester Schwarzenegger tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 95 played minutes Al-Fajuth got a freekick which was hit by Fabrício Brunovskis. The Al-Fajuth supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Antropofagia FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Antropofagia FC.
