Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Golaki Goiano in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Doni das Neves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gualter Gulak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Doni das Neves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Golaki Goiano's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Nicolás Castillo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Doni das Neves having to make a save. TEIXEIRINHA FC's Doni das Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolás Castillo in the 22nd minute of play. Doni das Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Golaki Goiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, TEIXEIRINHA FC's Thomás Cunha got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 45thth minute of the game Nicolás Castillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TEIXEIRINHA FC's Doni das Neves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 46 played minutes Jataiense Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Gualter Gulak. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

If Nicolás Castillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jataiense Futebol Clube's Thiago Paraibano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Finsberg in the 63rd minute of play. Jataiense Futebol Clube made a substitution. Nino Maldini replaced Luciano de Queirós. Nicolás Castillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Doni das Neves made a huge save. After 87 minutes of play, TEIXEIRINHA FC's Resulhan Ulvi made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Paraibano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nicolás Castillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doni das Neves having to interfere. Jataiense Futebol Clube's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
