Enrique Bastos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nilton Ramalho hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Anderson Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 22nd minute Gualter Gulak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doni das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doni das Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualter Gulak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Jataiense Futebol Clube's zone, Fred Finsberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Bastos came out of the goal and Fred Finsberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João de Salles made in the 29th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gilbert Pochorylo however managed to control. 30 minutes into the match, TEIXEIRINHA FC's goalkeeper Doni das Neves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Candido Urbes. 35 minutes into the match, TEIXEIRINHA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nilton Ramalho came free, but Doni das Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute Esteban Gentza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Bastos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doni das Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Candido Urbes, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gualter Gulak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jataiense Futebol Clube's Candido Urbes got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 54 played minutes Jataiense Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Jata Goiano. Candido Urbes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute of the game João de Salles made a throw-in which Gilbert Pochorylo played forward. 60 minutes into the match, TEIXEIRINHA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gualter Gulak came free, but Doni das Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jataiense Futebol Clube were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after TEIXEIRINHA FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nilton Ramalho took the corner. Jataiense Futebol Clube's Nilton Ramalho was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Doni das Neves in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Doni das Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Candido Urbes in the 64th minute of play. Candido Urbes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Doni das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th match minute, TEIXEIRINHA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan dos Santos to maneuver through the defense. When Jataiense Futebol Clube's Candido Urbes in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Nicolás Castillo replaced Gualter Gulak. Doni das Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolás Castillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Esteban Gentza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Enrique Bastos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Doni das Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Candido Urbes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enrique Bastos didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 85th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. Candido Urbes kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Candido Urbes fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
