With a couple of smart ball manuevers Candido Urbes in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stefan Neubrandt saved Internazionale-RS from getting behind. In the 13th minute Rogelio Lynch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sem Titulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Internazionale-RS's Rogelio Lynch, in the 14th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Internazionale-RS. In the 20th minute, Candido Urbes fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Stefan Neubrandt, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Tavares in the 23rd minute of play forced Jataiense Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Sem Titulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute of the match Internazionale-RS got a corner. Jataiense Futebol Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Batiste Carrez ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Batiste Carrez got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sem Titulescu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Candido Urbes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Alan Tavares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th match minute, Jataiense Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Urbes to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Jataiense Futebol Clube's Candido Urbes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stefan Neubrandt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogelio Lynch was the one to do the kick off. After 60 minutes Internazionale-RS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jata Goiano who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Jataiense Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Carlinhos Cerezo hit a great ball. Stefan Neubrandt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Candido Urbes's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Rogelio Lynch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Sem Titulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jataiense Futebol Clube's Marián De Bruyne was substituted for William Mineiro. Internazionale-RS's Stefan Neubrandt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Candido Urbes in the 75th minute of play. Jataiense Futebol Clube's Sem Titulescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Jataiense Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. 84 minutes into the match, Nino Maldini notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Internazionale-RS's Stefan Neubrandt. Stefan Neubrandt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
