The audience was convinced that Haroldo Terra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flávio Tróia was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. 94 minutes into the match, Gato Morto's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Terra came free, but Flávio Tróia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jipa RO's Haruki Murakami managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Godfredo Dacio in the 96 minute of the game. When the match was over Jipa RO could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gato Morto throughout the match.
