Mustafa Haydar Taci's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Alves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Manuel Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Freitas in the 13th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, Izaltina FAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André de Senna to maneuver through the defense. Jairo Arantes struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Manuel Alves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bastioes EC. Igor Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Well-Well Waack in the 25th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adalberto Félix in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Alves saved Izaltina FAD from getting behind. Manuel Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa Haydar Taci, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. A collision led to Izaltina FAD getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Leo Salvino hit a great ball. If Cássio Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Angelsø in the 44th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Haydar Taci in the 45th minute of play forced Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper Manuel Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Izaltina FAD's Manuel Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adalberto Félix in the 47th minute of play.
