C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Samuel Santos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. from getting a goal against them. After 20 minutes of play, Sipo EC's Oséias Gerber made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel Santos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Samuel Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noel Velloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Velloso in the 24th minute of play forced C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s goalkeeper Samuel Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 minutes Sipo EC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel da Silveira who took care of the corner kick. In the 28th minute, Noel Velloso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sipo EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 41 minutes into the match, C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s goalkeeper Samuel Santos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oséias Gerber. With a little luck, C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Samuel Santos got control of the ball when Oséias Gerber tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carroll Hathaway made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Freitag in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When Jerônimo Fontes fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sipo EC's protests and gave Jerônimo Fontes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 52nd match minute, Sipo EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerônimo Fontes to maneuver through the defense. Carroll Hathaway made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evandro Corrêa in the 64th minute of play. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Samuel Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oséias Gerber in the 67th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Joel da Silveira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carroll Hathaway was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Sipo EC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
