Ekzema F.V.'s Ximenez Cayuso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norbert Konopka in the 14th minute of play. Fabinho Prestes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timoteo Estevez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute Ekzema F.V. were awarded a corner. Paul Birkendahl went to the cornerflag to take it. After 22 minutes, Vitório Moreno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ekzema F.V. and the Jipa RO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Norbert Konopka's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ximenez Cayuso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute Norbert Konopka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ximenez Cayuso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Norbert Konopka in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ximenez Cayuso saved Ekzema F.V. from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timoteo Estevez got free with Fabinho Prestes in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Ekzema F.V. booed when Jipa RO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evair Gøl didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Vitório Moreno fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fabinho Prestes, passed just outside the right post. After the first half Jipa RO were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Lisandro Piearres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lisandro Piearres took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabinho Prestes. Fabinho Prestes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Jipa RO made a substitution. Ekzema F.V.'s Ximenez Cayuso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Ekzema F.V. from getting a goal against them. Fabinho Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Piearres in the 64th minute of the match. Ximenez Cayuso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Haroldo Terra in the 71st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ekzema F.V.'s zone, Haroldo Terra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ximenez Cayuso came out of the goal and Haroldo Terra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabinho Prestes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Piearres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Ekzema F.V. getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Jaime Miranda hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the match, Ekzema F.V.'s goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Terra came free, but Ximenez Cayuso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd match minute, Jipa RO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Koehler to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Ximenez Cayuso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience was convinced that Haroldo Terra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ximenez Cayuso was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. A collision led to Ekzema F.V. getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Jaime Miranda hit a great ball. Haroldo Terra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ximenez Cayuso having to make a save. In the 92nd minute of the match, Haroldo Terra tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ximenez Cayuso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ekzema F.V.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Haroldo Terra scored to the left of an out of position Ximenez Cayuso, making the score, 1-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Jipa RO eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
