Ronaldo Giovanelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Carvalho in the 34th minute of the match. Ronaldo Giovanelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin da Mata in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin da Mata in the 38th minute of play forced Galo do Japi's goalkeeper Ronaldo Giovanelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 81 played minutes Barbieri Sports got a freekick which was hit by Victorino Giraldo. Ronaldo Giovanelli made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Gustavo Gomes sent off a good shot on target. For all the effort they put into the match, the Barbieri Sports players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Galo do Japi.
