Breno Vergílio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Fantini, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Barbieri Sports's Benjamin da Mata got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Breno Vergílio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sydney Ramalho in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute Murilo Saraiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Eduardo Galvão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Fantini in the 25th minute of play forced Barbieri Sports's goalkeeper Breno Vergílio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44thth minute of the game Benjamin da Mata who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aesir FC FSCMZ's Luiz Eduardo Galvão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Sydney Ramalho made the kick off in the second half. Breno Vergílio made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Dalmo de Brito sent off a good shot on target. If Boruc Sokolski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aesir FC FSCMZ were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Barbieri Sports to leave the ground with a draw.
