With a left leg Ronaldo Giovanelli saved Galo do Japi from getting behind. João Augusto Soeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Renato Saraiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th minute Gino Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Giovanelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's goal looked a bit too open when Fábio Félix came free, but Ronaldo Giovanelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronaldo Giovanelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gino Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronaldo Giovanelli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gino Moreira's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. In the 16thth minute of the game Carlos Santana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Porvir FC's João Augusto Soeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. João Augusto Soeiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Santana in the 18th minute. Ronaldo Giovanelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Quirino in the 18th minute of the match. The corner ended in Rodrigo Quirino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Galo do Japi's Ronaldo Giovanelli did a great save. In the 21stth minute of the game Gino Moreira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galo do Japi's Ronaldo Giovanelli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Santana got free with João Augusto Soeiro in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 24 minutes into the game, Carlos Santana recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of João Augusto Soeiro. Carlos Santana showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 26 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Quirino came free, but Ronaldo Giovanelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Carlos Santana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Santana received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. João Augusto Soeiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Galo do Japi's Ronaldo Giovanelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edu França in the 51st minute of play. In the 51st minute Edu França shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Giovanelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute, Gino Moreira fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ronaldo Giovanelli, passed just outside the right post. Porvir FC's João Augusto Soeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Renato Saraiva in the 59th minute of play. The Galo do Japi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Galo do Japi's Ronaldo Giovanelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Galo do Japi from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Galo do Japi's Cléberson Lara got a free kick in the 90th minute. Ronaldo Giovanelli made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Gino Moreira sent off a good shot on target. In the 96th minute Paulo Renato Saraiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Augusto Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Renato Saraiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Galo do Japi had won after a very even match.
