Jairo Zonta made in the 2nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Elivélton Jacinto. In the 4th minute of the game Jairo Zonta made a throw-in which Anselmo Fantini played forward. In the 7th minute, Edvaldo Motta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Eduardo Galvão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Santana went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Paulo Renato Saraiva did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Luiz Eduardo Galvão 13 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Aesir FC FSCMZ's Luiz Eduardo Galvão got control of the ball when Carlos Santana tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 20th minute of the game Jairo Zonta made a throw-in which Manoel de Amorim played forward. In the 21st minute Dalmo de Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Giovanelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 played minutes Edvaldo Motta rounded Aesir FC FSCMZ's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. 28 minutes into the game, Carlos Santana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Luiz Eduardo Galvão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 31 minutes into the match, Aesir FC FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Santana came free, but Luiz Eduardo Galvão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game was made by Jairo Zonta with Manoel de Amorim as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Dalmo de Brito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronaldo Giovanelli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. The throw-in from Jairo Zonta in the 35th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Galo do Japi's Jonatan Rolfsson. Luiz Eduardo Galvão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Santana in the 36th minute. Galo do Japi were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Aesir FC FSCMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cafu Ringaa took the corner. Cafu Ringaa made a great header on Galo do Japi's corner, it was just that Aesir FC FSCMZ's Luiz Eduardo Galvão managed to reach the ball for a save. Paulo Renato Saraiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo Renato Saraiva to strike the kick off in the second half. Luiz Eduardo Galvão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Santana in the 51st minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of Galo do Japi:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Aesir FC FSCMZ:s goal. In the 56th minute, the referee gave Aesir FC FSCMZ a penalty. Carlos Eduardo Veiga looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Ronaldo Giovanelli. Luiz Eduardo Galvão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Santana's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. When Galo do Japi's Carlos Santana in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aesir FC FSCMZ's goalie prevented a goal. Ronaldo Giovanelli made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Dalmo de Brito sent off a good shot on target. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aesir FC FSCMZ's goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Galvão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's goal looked a bit too open when Sydney Ramalho came free, but Ronaldo Giovanelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronaldo Giovanelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmo de Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Jairo Zonta in the 75th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Galo do Japi's Durvalino Caca-Rato. Durvalino Caca-Rato hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Manoel de Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Ronaldo Giovanelli made a huge save. 87 minutes into the match, Aesir FC FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Santana came free, but Luiz Eduardo Galvão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Renato Saraiva in the 90th minute of play forced Aesir FC FSCMZ's goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Galvão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th minute, Paulo Renato Saraiva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galo do Japi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Galo do Japi were victorious despite being under pressure from Aesir FC FSCMZ for much of the match.
