The supporters of Santos Campineiro booed when M0RF1G4Z was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Luiz Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santos Campineiro's Anibal Enekoitz got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Santos Campineiro's Sidnei Baptista was substituted for Onuralp Ergüden. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nuno Netto to strike the kick off in the second half. M0RF1G4Z's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Sidney Albuquerque scored to the left of an out of position Alfredão do Nascimento, making the score, 2-3. After 80 minutes of play Santos Campineiro's Adilson Camargo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 80th match minute, Santos Campineiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adilson Camargo to maneuver through the defense.
