Spectators: 7150 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 150) EoDu Uai Sôccer's Demetrio Cannata started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jardel Cabezon in the 11th minute of play forced ARAUCARIA FC's goalkeeper Oséias Fantini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by ARAUCARIA FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Senen Tartales was slow to take the kick. During this time EoDu Uai Sôccer's players had a chance to rest. Oséias Fantini came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by EoDu Uai Sôccer's Jardel Cabezon. But to his dismay, Jardel Cabezon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Reginaldo Meira's late challenge caught a ARAUCARIA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reginaldo Meira helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to EoDu Uai Sôccer getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Reginaldo Meira hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the game, Jardel Cabezon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Oséias Fantini was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 34thth minute of the game Jardel Cabezon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ARAUCARIA FC's Oséias Fantini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Jardel Cabezon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 36th minute Jardel Cabezon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oséias Fantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Jardel Cabezon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oséias Fantini. ARAUCARIA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jardel Cabezon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elano Lopes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Demetrio Cannata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oséias Fantini made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Jardel Cabezon sent off a good shot on target. José-Luis Chilavert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elano Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. EoDu Uai Sôccer's Jardel Cabezon got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The throw-in from Jan Mlejnek in the 77th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ARAUCARIA FC's Jardel Corrêa. In the 79th minute, EoDu Uai Sôccer's Jardel Cabezon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Demetrio Cannata managed to get in a good position for a shot. EoDu Uai Sôccer's supporters rose to their feet, but Demetrio Cannata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oséias Fantini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. EoDu Uai Sôccer's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
