With a left leg Allan Varela saved Palestra do Interior from getting behind. 7 minutes into the match, Palestra do Interior's goal looked a bit too open when Zhou Hong Jie came free, but Allan Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dolfo Burgo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Godoi in the 9th minute of the match. Dolfo Burgo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulo Godoi went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Palestra do Interior's Allan Varela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Palestra do Interior from getting a goal against them. Paulo Godoi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dolfo Burgo having to make a save. Allan Varela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arif Onurhan in the 25th minute. Dolfo Burgo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Godoi in the 27th minute of play. Ulises Dominguez kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Allan Varela stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flóki Factor's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute Flóki Factor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Paulo Godoi made a precise shot to the right of Dolfo Burgo. Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Allan Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horácio Couto, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute, Moisés Matorin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Godoi got free with Dolfo Burgo in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Palestra do Interior's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Moisés Matorin in the 57th minute. Allan Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arif Onurhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Moisés Matorin hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Palestra do Interior's Hudson Sergipano was substituted for Niclas Danielsson. After 87 minutes of play, Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Flóki Factor made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Allan Varela was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vitório Lago blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dolfo Burgo having to make a save. Palestra do Interior succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® had controlled the match.
