Allan Varela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atacan Rahim in the 7th minute of the match. Paulo Godoi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Jerônimo da Cunha made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Palestra do Interior's Jerônimo da Cunha threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Reynaldo Sena, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 17 played minutes Paulo Godoi rounded Elite™- FC Galácticos's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. In the 24th minute of the match, Paulo Godoi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jerônimo da Cunha was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Dans Ludēns made in the 26th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Palestra do Interior's Celsinho Vidal. After 27 played minutes Elite™- FC Galácticos got a freekick which was hit by Fri Spel. When Boyisana Mnisi fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palestra do Interior's protests and gave Boyisana Mnisi a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Palestra do Interior fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! 39 minutes into the match, Elite™- FC Galácticos's goalkeeper Jerônimo da Cunha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Godoi.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulo Godoi to make the kick off. When Atacan Rahim came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Elite™- FC Galácticos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atacan Rahim couldn't finish the play. 55 minutes into the match, Elite™- FC Galácticos's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Godoi came free, but Jerônimo da Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nikos Kladogennis kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Atacan Rahim blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Allan Varela having to make a save. Palestra do Interior's Allan Varela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Palestra do Interior from getting a goal against them. 60 minutes into the match, Elite™- FC Galácticos's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Godoi came free, but Jerônimo da Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Palestra do Interior's Ernani Velasco got a free kick in the 68th minute. Palestra do Interior made a substitution. Vitório Lago replaced Paulo Godoi. Gino Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Varela having to interfere. After 90 minutes of play, Elite™- FC Galácticos's Gino Monteiro made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Allan Varela was left in no man's land by his defense there! Allan Varela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Décio Rola in the 94th minute of the match.
