Spectators: 8467 (Terracing: 6351, Seating: 1947, VIP seats: 169) Vahdet Ulumeriç started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Ricart Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Lin Yan Yan came free, but Andres Ekhi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ricart Futebol Clube's Geovânio Gerber got a free kick in the 19th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vahdet Ulumeriç in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andres Ekhi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Ricart Futebol Clube defense, Vahdet Ulumeriç kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andres Ekhi. The Ricart Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andres Ekhi should have stopped the shot. The throw-in from Hans-Jürgen Beckenbauer in the 29th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by BLACK STAR FC's Joko Kustiana. Hugon Kostka made in the 31st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Antônio Furtado. 37 minutes into the match, Ricart Futebol Clube's Eusebio Hori sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emmanuel Dandy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Andres Ekhi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vahdet Ulumeriç, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Hugon Kostka got a throw-in 40 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Antônio Furtado. In the 46th minute, Hugon Kostka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eusebio Hori to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Eusebio Hori cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Emmanuel Dandy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vahdet Ulumeriç who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Andres Ekhi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 61 minutes into the match, Ricart Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Andres Ekhi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vahdet Ulumeriç. With a little luck, Ricart Futebol Clube's Andres Ekhi got control of the ball when Vahdet Ulumeriç tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emmanuel Dandy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebio Hori in the 65th minute of play. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by BLACK STAR FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Doron Bantz was slow to take the kick. During this time Ricart Futebol Clube's players had a chance to rest. Emmanuel Dandy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eusebio Hori's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Eusebio Hori recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute, Eusebio Hori got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ricart Futebol Clube made a substitution. Abel Ramalho replaced Eusebio Hori. BLACK STAR FC's Emmanuel Dandy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doron Bantz in the 85th minute of play. In the 90th minute Abel Ramalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emmanuel Dandy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andres Ekhi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vahdet Ulumeriç in the 93rd minute. BLACK STAR FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
