Abdelbassir Cestarolli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franco Szczęsny having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Clube Audax Metropolitano's Haisenberg Dolar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reynaldo Cestarolli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Reynaldo Cestarolli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haisenberg Dolar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Luizão Cestarolli in the 16th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Clube Audax Metropolitano's Sergio Chus. Abdelbassir Cestarolli might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Franco Szczęsny. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abdelbassir Cestarolli ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 19th minute Abdelbassir Cestarolli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Szczęsny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Luizão Cestarolli fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cestarolli FC's protests and gave Luizão Cestarolli a yellow card for diving instead. Reynaldo Cestarolli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Haisenberg Dolar in the 23rd minute. Clube Audax Metropolitano's Franco Szczęsny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelbassir Cestarolli in the 24th minute of play. Abdelbassir Cestarolli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Cestarolli FC's Primitivo Cayuela got a free kick in the 30th minute. Clube Audax Metropolitano's Franco Szczęsny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelbassir Cestarolli in the 36th minute of play. When Abdelbassir Cestarolli, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 36 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Franco Szczęsny was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Clube Audax Metropolitano's goal looked a bit too open when Abdelbassir Cestarolli came free, but Franco Szczęsny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ademir Cestarolli hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abdelbassir Cestarolli to make the kick off. Reynaldo Cestarolli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haisenberg Dolar in the 52nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Eriberto Netto made a precise shot to the right of Reynaldo Cestarolli. Cestarolli FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Cestarolli FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
