Durval Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haisenberg Dolar in the 15th minute of play. Relyn Futebol Clube's Michael Åkerström managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sergio Chus in the 16 minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Haisenberg Dolar in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Durval Marinho saved Relyn Futebol Clube from getting behind. Raimundo Faria charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raimundo Faria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31st minute, Raimundo Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the match, Haisenberg Dolar notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Relyn Futebol Clube's Durval Marinho. Durval Marinho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Haisenberg Dolar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st match minute, Clube Audax Metropolitano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinho Quadros to maneuver through the defense. Romeo Cangeopol made in the 43rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Walter Samuel immediately put the ball in play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Felipe Santos made the kick off in the second half. Durval Marinho was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Haisenberg Dolar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Haisenberg Dolar really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Franco Szczęsny came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Relyn Futebol Clube's Felipe Santos. But to his dismay, Felipe Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Durval Marinho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Haisenberg Dolar in the 63rd minute. In the 63rd minute of the match, Haisenberg Dolar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Durval Marinho was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 64 minutes into the game, Clube Audax Metropolitano's Haisenberg Dolar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Durval Marinho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Clube Audax Metropolitano's Franco Szczęsny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Santos in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Felipe Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Clube Audax Metropolitano made a substitution. Betinho Tróia replaced Claudinho Quadros. Clube Audax Metropolitano's Délio Azevedo was substituted for Emanuel Esteves. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Santos in the 73rd minute of play forced Clube Audax Metropolitano's goalkeeper Franco Szczęsny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Durval Marinho had great luck who in the 92ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Eriberto Netto from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 94 minutes into the match, Clube Audax Metropolitano's Eriberto Netto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Durval Marinho narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
