Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Renato Augusto in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck César Proença prevented the ball from getting in the gole. César Proença made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Siekkötter in the 10th minute of play. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lei Feng Yan in the 11th minute. After taking down the ball on S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's corner Lucio Siekkötter fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and César Proença quite easily take care of the ball. César Proença made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Augusto in the 15th minute of play. Esen Sanal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlinhos Viana in the 16th minute. In the 20th minute Pelle Grini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esen Sanal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ferrao FC's João Miranda got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 22 minutes into the match, Ferrao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lei Feng Yan came free, but César Proença reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lei Feng Yan in the 24th minute of play forced Ferrao FC's goalkeeper César Proença to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferrao FC's César Proença played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Siekkötter in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by 邵朗岩 in the 33rd minute of play forced S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goalkeeper Esen Sanal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pelle Grini was slow to take the kick. During this time Ferrao FC's players had a chance to rest. César Proença made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Augusto in the 36th minute of play. With a little luck, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Esen Sanal got control of the ball when Pelle Grini tried to sneak it across the goal line.

If Pelle Grini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esen Sanal came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Ferrao FC's Claudinho Arantes. But to his dismay, Claudinho Arantes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Ferrao FC's César Proença played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renato Augusto in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute S.E.R. Caxias do Sul were awarded a corner. Lei Feng Yan went to the cornerflag to take it. Esen Sanal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Vidal in the 77th minute of play. Ferrao FC's César Proença played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Siekkötter in the 78th minute of play.
