Ferrao FC's César Proença proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Ferrao FC from getting a goal against them. Feng Jun might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over César Proença. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Feng Jun ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 15th minute Feng Jun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Proença saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. César Proença took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feng Jun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlinhos Viana in the 42nd minute of play forced ცơყʂ ɠơƖɖ ʂ.ƈ's goalkeeper Luís Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Feng Jun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the match, ცơყʂ ɠơƖɖ ʂ.ƈ's goalkeeper Luís Leme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlinhos Viana. With a left leg César Proença saved Ferrao FC from getting behind. ცơყʂ ɠơƖɖ ʂ.ƈ were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after Ferrao FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ruy Bastos took the corner. The corner led ცơყʂ ɠơƖɖ ʂ.ƈ's Ruy Bastos to fire away a dangerous shot which César Proença despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. César Proença stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cícero Sergipano's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Manuel Victoro in the 86th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Ferrao FC's Artuur Van Heurick. In the 88th match minute, Ferrao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pelle Grini to maneuver through the defense.
