In the 21st minute Rômulo Custódio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nestor Quirino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Oliveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th match minute, Olivedos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caio Pinto to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Olivedos getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. In the 71st minute, Edson Faria made a precise shot to the right of Abelardo Maranhense. Olivedos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 74 minutes of play, América-SC F.C.'s Lucas Arce made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abelardo Maranhense was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was a well-played corner which Tony Schmidt managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Edson Faria scored 4-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abelardo Maranhense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lucas Arce's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abelardo Maranhense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Olivedos's Abelardo Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabi Gol in the 92nd minute of play. Abelardo Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabi Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Olivedos players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for América-SC F.C..
