José de Queirós started the match with the kick off. Clube do Remo MZ's Wachirapong Wattanachinda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José de Queirós in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by José de Queirós in the 5th minute of play forced Clube do Remo MZ's goalkeeper Wachirapong Wattanachinda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wachirapong Wattanachinda came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's José de Queirós. But to his dismay, José de Queirós quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, Erivaldo Maia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wachirapong Wattanachinda. Clube do Remo MZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erivaldo Maia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 16th minute Dagoberto Sandoval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Eduardo Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Clube do Remo MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Luís Lopes came free, but Wachirapong Wattanachinda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Wachirapong Wattanachinda managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's José de Queirós fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's goalkeeper Luís Eduardo Garcia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wachirapong Wattanachinda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Guilherme Vides, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Luís Lopes got free with Wachirapong Wattanachinda in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Luís Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If José de Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wachirapong Wattanachinda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José de Queirós in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Clube do Remo MZ's goalkeeper Wachirapong Wattanachinda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José de Queirós. After 37 minutes Clube do Remo MZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pedro Luís Lopes who took care of the corner kick. Tatu Loco made a great header on Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's corner, it was just that Clube do Remo MZ's Wachirapong Wattanachinda managed to reach the ball for a save. Luís Eduardo Garcia came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Clube do Remo MZ's Kang Cheng Ao. But to his dismay, Kang Cheng Ao quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiaguinho Mandrak was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Clube do Remo MZ booed when Guadalupe FC - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tatu Loco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's Luís Eduardo Garcia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Guadalupe FC - CIMZ from getting a goal against them. Wachirapong Wattanachinda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Luís Lopes in the 60th minute of play. Tiaguinho Mandrak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Kang Cheng Ao came free, but Luís Eduardo Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ursino Fuente kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Guadalupe FC - CIMZ were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Clube do Remo MZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ursino Fuente took the corner. After taking down the ball on Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's corner Erivaldo Maia fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wachirapong Wattanachinda quite easily take care of the ball. Wachirapong Wattanachinda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ursino Fuente in the 80th minute of the match. José de Queirós took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wachirapong Wattanachinda. Wachirapong Wattanachinda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Clube do Remo MZ's Wachirapong Wattanachinda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José de Queirós in the 85th minute of play. Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's Luís Eduardo Garcia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Guadalupe FC - CIMZ from getting a goal against them. Wachirapong Wattanachinda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José de Queirós in the 89th minute of the match. Clube do Remo MZ were furious when Daniel Namasivayam was red carded, 95 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Clube do Remo MZ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
