Haroldo Dante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amerigo Muzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Varban Pavlikyanov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Clube Atl. Taquaritinga getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Philippe Alcântara hit a great ball. With a little luck, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Haroldo Dante got control of the ball when Luiz Gustavo do Valle tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 32 minutes Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pedro Luís Alvarenga who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Floripa Lions FSCMZ's corner Pedro Luís Alvarenga fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Haroldo Dante quite easily take care of the ball. Haroldo Dante made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Floripa Lions FSCMZ's Hortêncio Montenegro was substituted for Luiz Gustavo do Valle. Amerigo Muzi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Breno Loyola in the 74th minute. 84 minutes into the game, José Carlos Alagoano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Haroldo Dante was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Nilmar de Moraes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Amerigo Muzi. That made the score 3-1 after 87 minutes of play.
