When Anísio da Cunha fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Floripa Lions FSCMZ's protests and gave Anísio da Cunha a yellow card for diving instead. Anísio da Cunha hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 20th match minute, Floripa Lions FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anísio da Cunha to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Aníbal Sá sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Floripa Lions FSCMZ's Sidnei Hermes didn't even have to move. After a rather tough play, Floripa Lions FSCMZ's Luciano Batista got a free kick in the 43rd minute.

Breno Loyola took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sidnei Hermes. Sidnei Hermes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Sidnei Hermes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aníbal Sá, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Batista in the 60th minute of play forced Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's goalkeeper Haroldo Dante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aníbal Sá in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sidnei Hermes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 65 minutes into the game, Nilmar de Moraes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Sidnei Hermes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sidnei Hermes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Sá in the 68th minute of play. Floripa Lions FSCMZ's Sidnei Hermes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breno Loyola in the 71st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Aníbal Sá put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sidnei Hermes. Varban Pavlikyanov kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Aníbal Sá had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sidnei Hermes. Floripa Lions FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aníbal Sá was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. After a defensive mix-up in Floripa Lions FSCMZ's zone, Aníbal Sá stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sidnei Hermes came out of the goal and Aníbal Sá tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
