The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lobo Guará's Daniel Anaya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to save Lobo Guará from getting a goal against them. Leandro Figueiredo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Daniel Anaya. Lobo Guará's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Lobo Guará's Daniel Anaya got control of the ball when Barbaros Seçkin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Anaya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Barbaros Seçkin in the 12th minute. Anderson Laguna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ezequiel Pereira's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Lobo Guará's Daniel Anaya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Lobo Guará from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ezequiel Pereira sped through SRP-Laguna's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anderson Laguna. Daniel Anaya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xu Le Shu in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Xu Le Shu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Daniel Anaya. Xu Le Shu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 41 minutes into the match, Lobo Guará's Kerimhan Özonder sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anderson Laguna narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sancar Gazel's late challenge caught a SRP-Laguna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sancar Gazel helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Lobo Guará's Sancar Gazel got a free kick in the 45th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

SRP-Laguna made a substitution. Rafael Furtado replaced Deivid de Sena. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ezequiel Pereira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Ezequiel Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anderson Laguna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Lobo Guará's goal looked a bit too open when Xu Le Shu came free, but Daniel Anaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lobo Guará's Daniel Anaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xu Le Shu in the 59th minute of play. Kerimhan Özonder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Anderson Laguna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Ezequiel Pereira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anderson Laguna was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. SRP-Laguna's Isaltino Veloso was substituted for Vânderson Penha. Lobo Guará's Luizinho Custódio was substituted for Willian Caca-Rato. Daniel Anaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barbaros Seçkin, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frasier Crane in the 83rd minute of play forced Lobo Guará's goalkeeper Daniel Anaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emirşah Öktemer's late challenge caught a Lobo Guará's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emirşah Öktemer helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SRP-Laguna getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Emirşah Öktemer hit a great ball. In the 97th minute, Lobo Guará's Ciro de Moraes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anderson Laguna. Anderson Laguna yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lobo Guará walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
