In the 46thth minute of the game Deilmison van Basten who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Futuros FC's João Carlos Andrade was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rodriguinho Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krakaca Neto in the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Vilhelm Skoog recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Carlos Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deilmison van Basten in the 55th minute of the match. Rodriguinho Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krakaca Neto in the 58th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Vicente Dantas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodriguinho Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deilmison van Basten in the 93rd minute of play forced Futuros FC's goalkeeper João Carlos Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
