In the 22nd minute, Slaveyko Neev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Falcão Cunha was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 27 minutes into the match, Gracie Barra's goal looked a bit too open when Slaveyko Neev came free, but Falcão Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute Augusto Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gui Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gracie Barra's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner.
