Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Oroño's Primitivo Karmel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Evert Hedbom kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 6 minutes into the game, Alonzo Liher cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Celedonio Abaurre was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 10 minutes into the match, Piñero's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Karmel came free, but Rayan Blaise reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Oroño fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! Evert Hedbom placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Evert Hedbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Celedonio Abaurre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Oroño's goal looked a bit too open when Evert Hedbom came free, but Celedonio Abaurre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Alonzo Liher left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Piñero fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Celedonio Abaurre didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mbaka Mbolu went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 28th minute, one of Oroño:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Oroño. Evert Hedbom walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After 34 played minutes Oroño got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Karmel. Hilario Eusko hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. If Primitivo Karmel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celedonio Abaurre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evert Hedbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evert Hedbom was the one to do the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 53rd minute by Evert Hedbom got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Angelino Hanni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Evert Hedbom blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Celedonio Abaurre having to make a save. In the 56th play minute Mbaka Mbolu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Celedonio Abaurre. 0-4. In the 60th minute, Vicente Marino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Alonzo Liher managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piñero's supporters rose to their feet, but Alonzo Liher was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celedonio Abaurre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Evert Hedbom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th match minute, Piñero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 董克远 to maneuver through the defense. Maximo Salas's late challenge caught a Oroño's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximo Salas helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Piñero getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Maximo Salas hit a great ball. Higinio Elorri kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After 72 minutes of play, Piñero's Angelino Hanni made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Celedonio Abaurre was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Piñero booed when Oroño was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Regis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonides Rami received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Celedonio Abaurre came out and tried to block the shot, but Leonides Rami slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 87th minute. Rayan Blaise took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Elorri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodosio Cilio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Primitivo Karmel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
