Dorrego FC's Eleuterio Iturri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Dorrego FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Dabi in the 15th minute of play forced Dorrego FC's goalkeeper Eleuterio Iturri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Dorrego FC's Benedicto Nayely sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Everardo Abascal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 20 minutes of play, Dorrego FC's Benedicto Nayely made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Everardo Abascal was left in no man's land by his defense there! 23 minutes in the game, Saul Dabi fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Eleuterio Iturri having to interfere. Gaston Bento kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Pastor Arias hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. If Gervasio Berdoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dorrego FC's Eleuterio Iturri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Dabi in the 30th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvano Sanson during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Silvano Sanson hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. With his leg Eleuterio Iturri managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when atlas futbol club 2's Gaston Bento fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dorrego FC's Eleuterio Iturri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Dabi in the 42nd minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saul Dabi was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Dorrego FC booed when atlas futbol club 2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Videl didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 59 played minutes Dorrego FC got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Sanson. 63 minutes into the match, Dorrego FC's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Dabi came free, but Eleuterio Iturri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benedicto Nayely struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Everardo Abascal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dorrego FC. Benedicto Nayelys short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Everardo Abascal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. atlas futbol club 2's Everardo Abascal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save atlas futbol club 2 from getting a goal against them. Everardo Abascal came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Dorrego FC's Gervasio Berdoi. But to his dismay, Gervasio Berdoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Gaston Bento scored 2-2 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eleuterio Iturri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benedicto Nayely sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The nice shot from Benedicto Nayely in the 90thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Everardo Abascal had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Saul Dabi struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Eleuterio Iturri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for atlas futbol club 2. Despite being the better team, Dorrego FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
