Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 0) Feliciano Estebe started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Reynaldo Navarro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 5th match minute, Aston Birra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicasio Iigo to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aston Birra's goalkeeper Cesar Ermano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cesar Ermano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliciano Estebe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reynaldo Navarro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Palominos's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Lidon came free, but Fidel Efren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Reynaldo Navarro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Palominos's Cayetano Belarmo got a free kick in the 19th minute. Fidel Efren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Iturri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Bernabel hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Cesar Ermano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Estebe, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 30 minutes, Reynaldo Navarro made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Palominos's Fidel Efren tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Cristian Vermudo fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aston Birra's protests and gave Cristian Vermudo a yellow card for diving instead. Cristian Vermudo hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Arnoldo Lidon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Cesar Ermano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 47 minutes, Lucas Txurio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aston Birra and the Palominos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lucas Txurio hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reynaldo Navarro made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Feliciano Estebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Ermano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Aston Birra's goal looked a bit too open when Feliciano Estebe came free, but Cesar Ermano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 56 played minutes Aston Birra got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Txurio. Thorfinn Westerbjerg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Ermano having to interfere. Serafino Colon was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 67 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Thorfinn Westerbjerg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palominos's supporters rose to their feet, but Thorfinn Westerbjerg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cesar Ermano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 82 played minutes Aston Birra got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Txurio. After a defensive mix-up in Aston Birra's zone, Feliciano Estebe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesar Ermano came out of the goal and Feliciano Estebe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cesar Ermano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Estebe, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. Many of Aston Birra's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Aston Birra may have spent more time on the ball, but Palominos were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
