Aquiles Urbasa scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ermegildo Handi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Saturnino Froila could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Isaac Ekhi made a huge save. When Nicanor Hanot came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the BANFIELD F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicanor Hanot couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Hanot in the 25th minute of play forced Skate or die's goalkeeper Ermegildo Handi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 25 minutes on the clock, Augusto Jerano commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Skate or die! In the 38thth minute of the game Nicanor Hanot who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skate or die's Ermegildo Handi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 42nd minute Aquiles Urbasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Handi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicanor Hanot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Handi having to interfere. The Skate or die players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BANFIELD F.C were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicanor Hanot to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Nicanor Hanot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BANFIELD F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicanor Hanot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicanor Hanot scored 0-4 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ermegildo Handi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Narciso Galeno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicanor Hanot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Handi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Urbasa in the 70th minute of play forced Skate or die's goalkeeper Ermegildo Handi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicanor Hanot took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ermegildo Handi. Ermegildo Handi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Nicanor Hanot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ermegildo Handi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aquiles Urbasa in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ermegildo Handi saved Skate or die from getting behind. In the 96th minute, Aquiles Urbasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over BANFIELD F.C could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Skate or die throughout the match.
