Danilo Rivero took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benjamin Tiadoro. Danilo Rivero who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Benjamin Tiadoro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 25 minutes, Anselmo Erramu made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Boca Juniors's Anacleto Oliverios tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 28th match minute, Gaboto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Sabino to maneuver through the defense. The Boca Juniors fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Boca Juniors's Danilo Rivero looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Gaboto FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Danilo Rivero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Danilo Rivero to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Gaboto FC's zone, Danilo Rivero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Tiadoro came out of the goal and Danilo Rivero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th minute, Anselmo Erramu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anacleto Oliverios was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 5-2 when Danilo Rivero sped through Gaboto FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benjamin Tiadoro. In the 62nd match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iker Silban to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Danilo Rivero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boca Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Danilo Rivero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When Florencio Sabino was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 68 minutes had been played. After 71 played minutes Gaboto FC got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Erramu. Benjamin Tiadoro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-2. Danilo Rivero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Tiadoro having to interfere. 82 minutes into the game, Siro Jacob was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gaboto FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boca Juniors the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Gaboto FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Boca Juniors:s goal. Tadeo Aimar walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Benjamin Tiadoro came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Juniors's Danilo Rivero. But to his dismay, Danilo Rivero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-2. 90 minutes into the game, Danilo Rivero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-2. Benjamin Tiadoro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 95 minutes into the game, Danilo Rivero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-2. Benjamin Tiadoro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Boca Juniors had played much better football throughout.
