Gaboto FC's Anselmo Erramu got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anselmo Erramu did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Anacleto Oliverios 26 minutes into the match. Danilo Rivero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Tiadoro having to interfere. Tadeo Aimar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Danilo Rivero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benjamin Tiadoro was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. In the 33rd minute Tadeo Aimar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Tiadoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danilo Rivero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Tiadoro having to interfere. A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Ceferino Godoy hit a great ball. In the 42ndth minute of the game Danilo Rivero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gaboto FC's Benjamin Tiadoro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 44th minute, Danilo Rivero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boca Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th match minute, Gaboto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Sabino to maneuver through the defense. Danilo Rivero in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benjamin Tiadoro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 83 minutes into the match, Gaboto FC's goalkeeper Benjamin Tiadoro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Danilo Rivero. Augusto Guillelmus's late challenge caught a Boca Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Augusto Guillelmus helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Gaboto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Guillelmus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Danilo Riveros short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Benjamin Tiadoro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 89 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Erramu came free, but Anacleto Oliverios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaboto FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Danilo Rivero scored to the left of an out of position Benjamin Tiadoro, making the score, 1-2.
