In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Saavedra's goalkeeper Honorio Fernandez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Reynaldo Garci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th match minute, Saavedra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Chuan to maneuver through the defense. After 20 minutes, Serafin Segio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ticosis FC and the Saavedra players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee showed Ivan Chuan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 41 minutes, Arnaldo Vitin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Genaro Evis made a kick off. Reynaldo Garci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Edmund Jaktorowo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ticosis FC's Edmund Jaktorowo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Ihazintu in the 60th minute of play. If Serafin Segio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Genaro Evis ran back to his position shaking his head. 74 minutes into the match, Saavedra's goalkeeper Honorio Fernandez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Genaro Evis. After a defensive mix-up in Saavedra's zone, Timoteo Blai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorio Fernandez came out of the goal and Timoteo Blai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saavedra's Honorio Fernandez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Saavedra from getting a goal against them. Genaro Evis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ticosis FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
