Spectators: 7120 (Terracing: 5341, Seating: 1638, VIP seats: 141) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cotagaita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonio Endura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Santo Eztebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Fix, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 28th minute, Ernesto Kelemen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santo Eztebe was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of Lagunillas AFC booed when Cotagaita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Geofredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Hector Gabrio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lagunillas AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Gabrio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santo Eztebe came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Lagunillas AFC's Benicio Lugo. But to his dismay, Benicio Lugo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 46 minutes into the game, Ernesto Kelemen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lagunillas AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cotagaita the free kick. In the 46th minute, Ernesto Kelemen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Santo Eztebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Iban, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Orlondo in the 67th minute of play forced Lagunillas AFC's goalkeeper Honorio Bembe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Lagunillas AFC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Leonardo Txema hit a great ball. Honorio Bembe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Orlondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute Esteve Ubarna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
