Jaime Cedro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Melchor Ubendu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 9 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Okpara in the 27th minute of play forced Camilo Cienfuegos's goalkeeper Tomasz Szpakowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Esteve Virila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute, Camilo Cienfuegos's Melchor Ubendu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.
