In the 45th minute, Leonides Mendebal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Oscar Eleazar. The goal made the score 4-2. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-2 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mateo Shantala made a kick off. Leonides Mendebal struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Oscar Eleazar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Capioviciño AFC. Oscar Eleazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Shantala in the 66th minute of play. Leonides Mendebal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oscar Eleazar having to make a save. When Jacobo Anaya fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Campanas's protests and gave Jacobo Anaya a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. The referee ignored Campanas's protests and gave Tiburcio Milian a yellow card for diving instead. After 73 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Campanas! The audience was convinced that Mateo Shantala's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oscar Eleazar was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. If Leonides Mendebal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. A collision led to Campanas getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Gustavo Iigo hit a great ball. Oscar Eleazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonides Mendebal in the 95th minute of the match. In the 100th minute, Capioviciño AFC's Paulino Rafel seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Paulino Rafel the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Capioviciño AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Paulino Rafel had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 99 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Capioviciño AFC!
