Agustín Orion was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Desiderio Camerino showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 92 minute of play. If Reynaldo Rocendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 97th minute, Fondo FC's Armando Felipillo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. The Fondo FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fondo FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
