Clemente Olentzaro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonel Aicardi having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Olentzaro in the 8th minute of play forced Tanitos Leprosos FC's goalkeeper Leonel Aicardi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonel Aicardi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Olentzaro in the 9th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Clemente Olentzaro made a precise shot to the right of Leonel Aicardi. Tanitos Leprosos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Tanitos Leprosos FC's Ceandro Juarez quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sigvard Hökkvist, made in the 14th minute of the game. Teodosio Aznar didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 16th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Cecilio Lartaun took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leonel Aicardi. Tanitos Leprosos FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Matias Guillelmus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Teodosio Aznar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 30th play minutes Anacleto Hermelando shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Teodosio Aznar and just under the crossbar into goal. Teodosio Aznar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Hermelando in the 34th minute of play. If Ceandro Juarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodosio Aznar came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Tanitos Leprosos FC's Anacleto Hermelando. But to his dismay, Anacleto Hermelando quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 51st match minute, Tanitos Leprosos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Lehoi to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Club Sportivo Fenix's Eliseo Nisio got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 57th minute, Marcelo Afonso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonel Aicardi was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. 60 minutes into the game, Ceandro Juarez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Teodosio Aznar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In a very dangerous position, a player in Club Sportivo Fenix fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! In the 74th minute, Matias Guillelmus made a precise shot to the right of Teodosio Aznar. Club Sportivo Fenix's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-2. Club Sportivo Fenix's Teodosio Aznar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demetrio Taglieri in the 78th minute of play. Teodosio Aznar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Guillelmus in the 82nd minute of the match. Leonel Aicardi made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Clemente Olentzaro sent off a good shot on target. Clemente Olentzaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Aicardi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anacleto Hermelando in the 87th minute of play forced Club Sportivo Fenix's goalkeeper Teodosio Aznar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Anacleto Hermelando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teodosio Aznar was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceandro Juarez in the 89th minute of play forced Club Sportivo Fenix's goalkeeper Teodosio Aznar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Tanitos Leprosos FC's Anacleto Hermelando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teodosio Aznar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-2. Teodosio Aznar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Hermelando in the 96th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Tanitos Leprosos FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
