Spectators: 7058 (Terracing: 5295, Seating: 1623, VIP seats: 140) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Celso Nuñez made the kick off which started today's match. 6 minutes into the match, Esquel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Eriz came free, but Niceto Illan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niceto Illan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Romildo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Hugo Remicio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niceto Illan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celso Nuñez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emiliano Matai having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Remicio in the 34th minute of play forced Esquel FC's goalkeeper Niceto Illan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 42 minutes, Hugo Remicio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zapiola FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Remicio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute, Celso Nuñez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Emiliano Matai. The goal made the score 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hugo Remicio was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Hugo Remicio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niceto Illan. Esquel FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hugo Remicio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 60th minute, Celso Nuñez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 63rd minute by Hugo Remicio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 72 minutes into the match, Esquel FC's goalkeeper Niceto Illan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Remicio. Fabio Eriz struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Niceto Illan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zapiola FC. A collision led to Esquel FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Santo Kaxen hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Zapiola FC's Clemente Oriche got a free kick in the 85th minute. The throw-in from Clemente Oriche in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Esquel FC's Santo Kaxen. Niceto Illan came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Zapiola FC's Hugo Remicio. But to his dismay, Hugo Remicio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The Zapiola FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
