Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amadeo Fresco started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Amadeo Fresco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Geofredo in the 4th minute of play forced Juvenal Plate's goalkeeper Gervasio Eleazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gervasio Eleazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desiderio Geofredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Estudiantes DLP's Santos Dalmau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Estudiantes DLP from getting a goal against them. In the 12th minute, Hugo Chuse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Amadeo Fe in the 13th minute really tested Santos Dalmau's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Gervasio Eleazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Desiderio Geofredo in the 15th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Estudiantes DLP's zone, Aureliano Toribio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santos Dalmau came out of the goal and Aureliano Toribio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Juvenal Plate booed when Estudiantes DLP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeo Fresco didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Amadeo Fresco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gervasio Eleazar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Estudiantes DLP's Santos Dalmau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Estudiantes DLP from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Juvenal Plate getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Ciro Quinton hit a great ball. After 39 played minutes Juvenal Plate got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Iraitz. 43 minutes into the match, Estudiantes DLP's goalkeeper Santos Dalmau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aureliano Toribio. 43 minutes into the game, Aureliano Toribio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Santos Dalmau. Aureliano Toribio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 47 minutes into the match, Estudiantes DLP's goalkeeper Santos Dalmau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aureliano Toribio. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aureliano Toribio to make the kick off. In the 57th minute, Marciano Dacio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gervasio Eleazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desiderio Geofredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Juvenal Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Geofredo came free, but Gervasio Eleazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santos Dalmau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Toribio in the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Amadeo Fe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Dalmau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Estudiantes DLP's Santos Dalmau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Monte in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Juvenal Plate's Ariel Monte got a free kick in the 74th minute. Santos Dalmau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Toribio, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Santos Dalmau stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amadeo Fe's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Estudiantes DLP's Santos Dalmau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Emmanuel in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Emmanuel in the 86th minute of play forced Estudiantes DLP's goalkeeper Santos Dalmau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gervasio Eleazar made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Amadeo Fresco sent off a good shot on target. Juvenal Plate were furious when Hernan Iraitz was red carded, 90 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 92 minutes into the game, Lucio Bernaldo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Gervasio Eleazar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 95 minutes of play, Juvenal Plate's Aureliano Toribio made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santos Dalmau was left in no man's land by his defense there! The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
