An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Manny in the 10th minute of play forced Barrio Argentino's goalkeeper Auguste Pol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Blas Fiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barrio Argentino's supporters rose to their feet, but Blas Fiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victoriano Nuñez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Barrio Argentino's Silvestre Celino was substituted for Raul Egoi. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rogelio Endura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Auguste Pol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herminio Mergildo in the 57th minute of the match. Victoriano Nuñez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Celino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Auguste Pol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herminio Mergildo, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Quilino in the 63rd minute of play forced Barrio Argentino's goalkeeper Auguste Pol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blas Fiz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victoriano Nuñez having to make a save. Blas Fiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Nuñez having to interfere. Barrio Argentino made a substitution. Leo Ciceron replaced Celestino Ioritz. Silvestre Celino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Victoriano Nuñez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blas Fiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barrio Argentino's Auguste Pol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Mergildo in the 87th minute of play. Blas Fiz might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victoriano Nuñez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Blas Fiz ran back to his position shaking his head.
