To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eduardo Guzman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristobal Baristo in the 29th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Rafael Jayvier made a precise shot to the right of Fernan Remicio. GEAR 5's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. GEAR 5's Fernan Remicio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Jayvier in the 44th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafael Jayvier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Roland in the 51st minute of play forced GEAR 5's goalkeeper Fernan Remicio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
