The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jaime Iyan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Bingen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anier Bingen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jaime Iyan came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Caspinchango's Abel Sendoa. But to his dismay, Abel Sendoa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Rangel's Cristobal Lesardo got a free kick in the 13th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Zeledon Jerano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Caspinchango getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Gaspar Oalo hit a great ball. In the 17th minute of the match Orlando Henric shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zeledon Jerano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rangel's Jaime Iyan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hipolito Bitxintxo in the 22nd minute of play. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rangel's goalkeeper Jaime Iyan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Abel Sendoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Iyan having to interfere. If Abel Sendoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the game, Caspinchango's Anier Bingen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jaime Iyan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. A collision led to Caspinchango getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Eduardo Blanco hit a great ball. Cristobal Lesardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Zeledon Jerano made a huge save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marco Niva was the one to do the kick off. Zeledon Jerano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Niva, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. A collision led to Caspinchango getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Gaspar Oalo hit a great ball. Caspinchango's Zeledon Jerano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Niva in the 56th minute of play. The audience held their breath when Edelmiro Orlondo in the 61st minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Jaime Iyan's left hand side. Hipolito Bitxintxo charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hipolito Bitxintxo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Abel Sendoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Anier Bingen struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Jaime Iyan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caspinchango. The supporters of Caspinchango booed when Rangel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Pelagius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaime Iyan made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Anier Bingen sent off a good shot on target. If Anier Bingen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Rangel getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Anastasio Cuartio hit a great ball. Jaime Iyan stood somewhat misplaced when Anier Bingen came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 84 minute. Anier Bingen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Jaime Iyan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 90 played minutes Rangel got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Pelagius. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliseo Seguinus during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of Rangel:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Caspinchango:s goal. The goalkeeper, Jaime Iyan, was totally fooled by Caspinchango's Anier Bingen, who 94 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 98 minutes into the match, Caspinchango's goal looked a bit too open when Cristobal Lesardo came free, but Zeledon Jerano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
