Cristobal Elorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Celio having to interfere. Lino Lizer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Telesforo, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. When Mauro Telesforo fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Patronato's protests and gave Mauro Telesforo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Patronato getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Mauro Telesforo hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernan Quinito during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fernan Quinito kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 28th minute of the match Valentin Ferrer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Santo Celio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 29th match minute, Patronato was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Ellande to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute, Božin Grozdanov made a precise shot to the right of Santo Celio. Patronato's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joan Buenafuente in the 40th minute of play forced Patronato's goalkeeper Santo Celio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joan Buenafuente struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Santo Celio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guerrero. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Santo Celio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristobal Elorri went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 67 minutes, Joan Buenafuente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guerrero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joan Buenafuente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Joan Buenafuente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joan Buenafuente blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santo Celio having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Guerrero's zone, Mauro Telesforo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lino Lizer came out of the goal and Mauro Telesforo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aureliano Quintin hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Orlando Rodas kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Guerrero's Cristobal Elorri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santo Celio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 95 minutes into the match, Patronato's goal looked a bit too open when Božin Grozdanov came free, but Santo Celio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Patronato players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Guerrero.
