The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Guido Arnas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Celio in the 3rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Daniel Rosas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Furano F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Rosas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael Luzaide breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Furano F.C's Guido Arnas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marciano Mateus in the 12th minute of play. Guido Arnas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Celio in the 16th minute of play. When Hilario Iraido fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bermejo's protests and gave Hilario Iraido a yellow card for diving instead. Manfred Lidberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Ismael Luzaide made a huge save. A collision led to Bermejo getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Cosme Phelipe hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Furano F.C's zone, Marciano Mateus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guido Arnas came out of the goal and Marciano Mateus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marciano Mateus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Paulo Celio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bermejo's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Celio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guido Arnas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Manfred Lidberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bermejo's Cosme Phelipe got his second yellow card of the match in the 47th minute. The referee ordered Cosme Phelipe off the ground. After 47 played minutes Bermejo got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Phelipe. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

After a defensive mix-up in Bermejo's zone, Manfred Lidberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Luzaide came out of the goal and Manfred Lidberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo Celio during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Bermejo getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Paulo Celio hit a great ball. Guido Arnas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marciano Mateus in the 64th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manfred Lidberg in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael Luzaide saved Bermejo from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Bermejo's Paulo Celio got a free kick in the 66th minute. The throw-in from Natalio Cordareo in the 74th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Furano F.C's Ismael Petri. In the 80th minute, Hilario Iraido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Celio was shown his second yellow card after 84 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Hilario Iraido got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Bermejo getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Hilario Iraido hit a great ball. Delmar Gabirel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manfred Lidberg struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Ismael Luzaide didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Furano F.C. If Manfred Lidberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
