Spectators: 6624 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1624, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Javier Euloxu got the match started through his kick off. When Daniel Odon fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Necochea F.C's protests and gave Daniel Odon a yellow card for diving instead. If Tomás Gomesano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Necochea F.C defense, Javier Euloxu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivan Erramun. The Necochea F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivan Erramun should have stopped the shot. In the 21st match minute, Boulogne FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Toli to maneuver through the defense. Zacarias Marcones scored 1-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gervasio Laffitte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gervasio Laffitte came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Necochea F.C's Bruno Mogel. But to his dismay, Bruno Mogel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomás Gomesano got free with Ivan Erramun in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Javier Euloxu came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Boulogne FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Javier Euloxu couldn't finish the play. Necochea F.C's Ivan Erramun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Euloxu in the 39th minute of play. Boulogne FC's Gervasio Laffitte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Mogel in the 45th minute of play. Gervasio Laffitte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Abaurre in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Necochea F.C were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bruno Mogel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anselmo Abaurre came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gervasio Laffitte could save by the left post. Gervasio Laffitte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Ekain in the 53rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Necochea F.C's Daniel Odon got a free kick in the 55th minute. After having played for 56 minutes, Osvaldo Toli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boulogne FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldo Toli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Boulogne FC's Gervasio Laffitte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Boulogne FC from getting a goal against them. In the 60th minute Javier Euloxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Erramun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Javier Euloxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, Daniel Odon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gervasio Laffitte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Ekain, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Ivan Erramun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Javier Euloxu's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Ivan Erramun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Euloxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Bruno Mogel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Javier Euloxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Erramun having to interfere. Javier Euloxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anselmo Abaurre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Gervasio Laffitte made a huge save. 83 minutes into the game, Lino Ekain recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gervasio Laffitte. Lino Ekain showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. After 88 minutes, Bruno Mogel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Necochea F.C and the Boulogne FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th minute, Bruno Mogel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Necochea F.C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Necochea F.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
