A collision led to Mixta FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Saul Mattin hit a great ball. A hard shot by Bernardo Ekaitz from long distance, 31 minutes into the match, got Arnoldo Turi's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Desiderio Porfiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Benitez having to interfere.
